Why Earhog Earphones Are Better
Most players and mobile phones on the market come with freebie earbuds. And well, they’re basically freebie quality; average sound reproduction, uncomfortable, short cords and they just don’t stay in. Our customers are mobile, busy and active and want something better. They want great sounding,comfortable earbuds that stay in their ears. They also want a great price. They ride hard, play hard, work hard.
So we set out to, well, build a better earphone, for people on the go. We quickly discovered from our engineering geniuses that if we weren’t pigs for profit, we could build a really great product at a really great price. We knew it was important to take our time and do it right.
Innovative Cord Design – The Earphones Stay In Your Ear
We first started looking for cable and realized almost everyone uses short, plastic coated wire. Not sure why most buds come with such cheap short wires, but we quickly decided that we could do better. We developed fancy nylon coated, interference shielding, cotton wrapped cord that is virtually tangle free and very durable. Then we had an out of the box idea. “Why don’t we see if we can design a way for the wires to be worn so they don’t get pulled out every-time you move you body or turn your head?” We decided to use a simple but ingenious new cord design. Squealers use a simple adjustment slider allowing the user the option to wear the buds behind the neck. No matter how much you yank the wires from the front, they just don’t fall out.
Huge Sound
Next they started fooling around with components, acoustics, sonics and all sorts of other techie sounding stuff. They came up with some pretty funky looking earbuds too. They tested several variations, scrapped a bunch of ‘em and once soon came up with a sleek new bud design with great sound. They also found a way to isolate external noise so you can really hog the sound. Our buds are sleek and fit well under things like bandanas and helmets. No more fumbling with your iPod™ to change the volume anymore either. Our in-line volume control has grooves on the thumb wheel so it’s easy to adjust.
Perfect Fit Most earphones only come with one pair of earbud covers, but we know everyones ears are little different. So at Earhog we put 6 pairs in every package. There are different sizes; some are foam and others are silicone. We know it was a novel thing to do but we really are serious about great sound. The 6 pairs of buds usually provide a perfect fit for everybody.
We really believe in our products. We did our homework and think you’ll really like them. The fit and finish is very good and we know our little high performance earbuds sound so good they rival many full-size headphones.
